G.E.R(Junior) Sad History
G.E.R (Junior) was born on May 12th 2005 in the State of Connecticut.
2008, Dominican Republic .........
On August 12th 2009, Junior`s mother,Carmen Laporte, asked a friend to bring Junior to the United States. Promising Junior’s father, that Junior would have a better life. Junior was finally reunited with mom leaving an empty space in the hearts of those left behind, dad, grandpa, grandma, cousins and friends.
Junior came to USA and lived with his biological mother, stepdad Claudio Bulnes Padilla and baby sister Sharitza Bulnes (three months old at the time). German Jr’s life was about to change dramatically for the worse.
Not long from the time his new life started Junior (As those that love him called him), learned that his life was going to be far from what he thought it would be. His fragile four year old body apparently fell down the stairs on two different occasions, suffering a fractured clavicle that was never treated. A few days after this incident, he suffered great pain, while under the supervision of his step dad Claudio Padilla.
He received punches in his small and delicate stomach the point of passing out. This caused him liver lacerations, spleen laceration and a ruptured bowel. Junior’s delicate body suffered for two entire days with extreme pain and vomiting. No medical attention was giving to help ease the pain, nor was he giving any special treatment due to his condition.
Junior’s body was not able to handle such distress and while his organs were damaged inside his heart gave out and Junior went into cardiac arrest. His heart stopped beating for approximate seventeen minutes. He was resuscitated by medical personnel that were called to the scene by a angel sent by God.
Junior's Condition: he was left unable to speak, walk, or have a normal life as any four year old kid would.
Junior arrived at the Robert Wood Johnson in the city of New Brunswick NJ in critical condition on September 10th 2009 and remained in the hospital receiving the best medical care possible.
Junior received the best gift ever, dad, the only person he knew since he was a six weeks old baby. With the assistance of the Attorney Lic. Bernardo Toribio (in the Dominican Republic) and Mr. Juan Montan (in USA), dad was able to obtain an emergency Humanitarian visa due to his son’s serious condition and immediately flew to his side.
Not knowing the real reason for his son’s injuries, Junior`s dad discovered the brutal punishment his son had received. Since he was in critical condition, he was left unable to speak, walk, or have a normal life as any four year old kid would.
Junior is now in a convalescent center receiving special medical treatments. His father awaits justice. Mr. Bulnes-Padilla was arrested and charged with attempted murder as well as aggravated assault. While Jr`s mother Carmen Laporte is seeking psychological evaluation.
DYFS( New Jersey Department of Youth and Family services) has full custody of Jr and his six month old baby sister.
Junior’s dad German Roger Rodriguez is attempting to get full custody of his only son, in order to give him a better life and help him recuperate from this great trauma.
The Department of Children and Families of the State of NJ recommended that the father's presence in the United States is necessary (obligatory) to continue with the legal aspect of the case with the State. Also based on psychological evaluation done by the department, it was recommended that the father remain with his son for the emotional bonding which is critical for the child's rehabilitation and healing. The child is emotionally attatched to his father as he was raised by him in the Dominican Republic for most of his life.
Since German Roger Rodriguez (dad) is currently in the United States with a B1 Temporary nonimigrant Visa, he is not allowed to work in the U.S.
He needs monetary assistance, because he does not have any relatives in USA, and he was only receiving economic help from his father (Junior's Grandfather),whom sent him some money to help with the cost of shelter, food and transportation, but they already spent all their savings, and do not have any more money.
